Daniel Press, PCC Construction Components, Architectural Wall Systems,

Daniel Press

“I joined PCC Construction Components, Inc. in 2009, starting my career as a Superintendent, working my way up to Safety Director. When I first entered the industry, I was green and eager to learn, gaining invaluable experience under the mentorship of Terry Downs (now retired). Those early years on the jobsite shaped my understanding of construction from the ground up and helped mold me into the Safety Director I am today.

Having grown up in this industry—and with PCC—I understand the ins and outs of daily jobsite operations and the importance of safety, quality, and accountability at every level. My responsibilities include conducting site audits, investigating incidents, delivering safety training, and managing risk to protect both our workforce and the public. I am a proud graduate of the ABC Leadership Development Program and actively serve on the Workforce Development team with ABC Metro Washington, where I remain committed to strengthening the future of our industry.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, kids, and extended family—I come from a big one, and we value being together. I’m also an avid sports fan and enjoy
watching golf, hockey, football, and baseball.

I take great pride in helping PCC continue to thrive. I believe it’s my responsibility to ensure we deliver excellent customer service, uphold the highest safety and quality standards, and complete every project as a team—on time and within budget. That commitment is what we strive for every day and what we hold ourselves to as a company.”
